HALF-DAY 9:00 AM TO 12:45 PM - After-care option until 3:15 pm and early drop-off at 8:30 am
Campers will embark on an unforgettable adventure, learning Spanish through hands-on science experiments, cooking, games, crafts, water day, and an exciting exploration of Latin culture. 🌎✨ With activities designed to be fun, engaging, and accessible for all learners, they’ll have so much fun they won’t even realize they’re learning! 🎉
At Lowcountry Language Academy Camps, we believe learning Spanish should be joyful and easy for children of all language backgrounds and skill levels.
Spanish Immersion Half-Day Camps (9:00 AM - 12:45 PM) offer extended care until 3:00 PM and early drop-off options, providing the perfect opportunity for children aged 3 to 10 to explore the Spanish language and culture in a supportive, fun-filled environment.
Children as young as 2 years old are also welcome! However, we recommend enrolling them for all week to allow ample time for adjustment and to enjoy the new environment fully.

Week 1 May 26 – May 29 Safari Adventures Camp
An exciting introduction to Spanish through animals and nature. Children explore the jungle, savannah, and rainforest while learning Spanish in a playful and immersive way.
Spanish vocabulary focus: jungle animals, colors, numbers, actions, habitats
Activities include animal crafts, movement games, storytelling, songs, and sensory exploration
Week 2 June 1 – June 5 Ocean Quest Camp
Dive into Spanish learning through ocean exploration. Campers discover sea life, underwater worlds, and ocean adventures while building vocabulary naturally through play.

Activities include water-themed art, science experiments, games, music, and imaginative play
Week 3 June 8 – June 12 Junior Chef Spanish Camp
A hands-on culinary adventure where Spanish comes to life through food. Children learn vocabulary while preparing simple snacks and exploring flavors from Spanish-speaking cultures.
Spanish vocabulary focus: food, fruits, vegetables, kitchen tools, numbers, verbs
Activities include cooking projects, pretend restaurants, food art, role play, and songs
Week 4 June 15 – June 19 The Great Circus Adventure
Step right up for a fun-filled week of Spanish and circus magic. Children explore movement, creativity, and performance while learning new words in context.

Activities include juggling games, creative movement, costume play, crafts, and music
Week 5 June 22 – June 26 Charleston Art Explorers
Inspired by Charleston’s culture and creativity, this camp blends Spanish with art, architecture, and local inspiration.
Spanish vocabulary focus: art materials, colors, shapes, places, descriptive words
Activities include painting, collage, sculpture, outdoor inspiration walks, and storytelling
Week 6 June 29 – July 3 Flavors of the Spanish World Camp
Travel through Spanish-speaking countries using food, traditions, and culture as a guide. Children experience Spanish through taste, music, and celebration.

Activities include cooking, crafts, music, games, and cultural exploration
Week 7 July 6 – July 10 Fiesta Groove Camp
A high-energy camp combining Spanish with music, dance, and rhythm. Perfect for children who love to move and express themselves.

Activities include dance, rhythm games, musical instruments, group performances, and games
Week 8 July 13 – July 17 Color Pop Art Camp
A bold and creative Spanish immersion experience focused on color, design, and artistic expression.

Activities include mixed-media art, pop-art projects, collaborative murals, and creative play
Week 9 July 20 – July 24 Color, Clay & Canvas Camp
Children explore multiple art forms while building Spanish vocabulary through hands-on creativity.

Activities include clay modeling, painting, sensory art, sculpture, and storytelling
Week 10 July 27 – July 31 Science in Action Spanish Camp
A curiosity-driven camp where science meets Spanish. Children explore experiments and discoveries while learning new vocabulary naturally.
Spanish vocabulary focus: science tools, actions, nature, cause-and-effect words
Activities include simple experiments, building projects, observation games, and STEM play
Camp Care Services: Before and After Camp
Coordinating summer schedules can be challenging, and we want to ensure your child is happy, engaged, and well-cared for throughout the day.
That’s why we’re excited to offer Camp Care before and after each registered camp session:
Early Camp Care: Available from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM (please let us know if you need earlier drop-off)
Camp Hours: 9:00 am to 12:45 pm
After Camp Care: Available from 12:45 PM to 3:00 PM
Camp Care fees are due at the time of registration for extended care. However, you’re not required to register for Camp Sessions and Camp Care at the same time—you can enroll in extended care later if needed.

Waiting List
If a camp week reaches full capacity, you can add your child to the waiting list. You won’t be charged unless a spot becomes available and you confirm your interest.
Positions on the waitlist are determined by the order of registration. Our waitlists are flexible, as families often change plans throughout the year, creating new openings. Campers are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, so the earlier you join, the better your chances of securing a spot.
If a space opens for your camper, we’ll contact you to confirm whether you’d like to enroll. If you decide to withdraw from the waitlist, please notify us promptly.
REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY.
Payment Policy
Programs Deposit: A100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. All balances for Summer Camp 2025 must be paid in full by May 1, 2024. Failure to meet this deadline may result in the loss of your child’s spot and deposit.
Please note that camps cannot be prorated for missed days during any camp week. Lowcountry Language Academy reserves the right to modify camp details if necessary.

Kids Night Out is a fun, safe, and engaging evening where children enjoy hands-on activities while parents enjoy a well-deserved night off. The night is thoughtfully planned to keep children active, creative, and happy in a warm, supervised environment.

Children explore their creativity through age-appropriate crafts such as painting, coloring, themed projects, and simple hands-on art activities they are proud to take home.Cooking Fun
